Providing compassionate, trauma-informed mental health therapy to adults in the Twin Cities South Metro and throughout Minnesota.
My Philosophy
Hello and welcome! I am Heather Oleson, mental health therapist and owner of Rooted Insights. I believe that we can all benefit from support from a trusted guide when we are feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Maybe you are going through a difficult transition or just don't feel like yourself. Or perhaps you wonder whether experiences or relationships from your past are preventing you from living the life you want to lead. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for you to explore these concerns and help you achieve your personal goals.
Sometimes just talking with a trusted person can be enough to help one feel better. Other times, just talking about things can still leave someone feeling stuck. This is why I integrate strategies that foster healing connection on a mind/body level. This often involves exploring what is at the "root" of our problems and incorporating strategies to help shift the way we think and feel about them.
Drawing upon one's own inner strengths and wisdom, I feel honored to accompany individuals on their journey to cultivate deep healing and lasting change.
